Linda Lane unexpectedly passed on June 18th, 2020 in Dickinson, TX. Born in Seminole, Ok on March 5, 1947 to the late Hubert and Catherine Brison, Linda became a Texan by heart when she moved to Pasadena, TX. later that year. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Lane and son Bert Lane. Linda’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She is survived by her son Tim Lane and wife Teri of South Houston and daughter Tessia Parmer and husband Toby of Santa Fe, TX. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Tayton, Tanner and Tavien Parmer and her brother Gene Brison and wife Linda of Dayton, TX.
Linda was a founding member of Lane’s Hi-Tech Collision Services where she did the accounting for the family business for two generations. Through thick and thin, Linda was devoted to her family and always wanted the best for her children. Her dedication to First Baptist Pasadena was evident as she shared her faith with others, taught Sunday School and Girls in Action, and made generous donations to the preschool ministry. Linda was creative and enjoyed working with her hands-sewing, scrapbooking and painting. She loved working in her yard and having her grandsons helping her with it. She leaves many family members and loyal friends who will sadly miss her laughter and hearing her views on life, especially her country which she loved well.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX. 77505 on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM. It will be by invitation only due to covid-19 restrictions for gatherings. Burial will follow at Grand View Cemetery at 11:00AM and that will be open to the public.
