Linda Sue Carroll

She was born in Henderson, TX on September 3, 1934 to Harris and Jewel (Russell) Beall. She was married 20 years to William Derrell Ross until his death. She found love again and wed her husband of 38 years, Coy Carroll, until his passing. She is also preceded in death by her parents, and her sons; Derrell Ross, Jr. and Ricky Ross.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She found great joy in being a homemaker, spending time with her family, attending family events and doting on her pets. She was kind and compassionate, always concerned for the welfare of others. She had a playful sense of humor and always enjoyed a hearty laugh. Her faith in Christ sustained her throughout her life.

She was survived by a beloved aunt, Mary Ellen Beall Pinkston; daughters, Sharon Pierce (Robert) of Conroe and Karen McClellan (Charles) of Pearland; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Money, Kimberly Chassay, Kelly Elliot, Stephen Ross, Dustin Ross, Ryan Pierce, Rene Maliszewski, Brian Ross, and Lindsey Felt; 11 great grandchildren; sisters; Ann B. Crider King, Kathy Jones, Sunnye Beall Mechaley, and Angel Leffingwell; and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Linda’s caregiver of several years, Rose Windham, as well as, the staff of Hallmark Hospice.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. Reverend Mark Downs officiating.
