Leonel is survived by his esposa, Sandra Avalos; his hija Deborath Granados; his hijo Jairo Avalos; and his hija Idalia Avalos; his nietos Cinco, his hermanos Tres and his hermanas Tres.

A rosary / santo rosario will occur Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 7:00 PM. A visitation will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM, 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506. An interment will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
