Leo A. Gradig, 80, passed away on July 31, 2012 in Kirbyville, TX. Leo was born on November 9, 1931 in Tipton, KS to Adolph and Anna Gradig. He was a long time resident of Pasadena, TX, and attended St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. Leo served his country in the United States Air Force, received a National Defense Service Medal, and retired as Master Sargent.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, LaQuita Nell Gradig; brother, Paul Gradig; and sister, Patricia Krier. He is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Gradig, and Donna Lacey and her husband Glenn; 7 grandchildren, Christopher Weber, Jeremy Weber, Kevin Bearden, Keith Long, Kyle Long, Kristen Long, and Kameron Lacey; 3 great grandchildren, Jett Bearden, Christian Weber, and Kason Bearden.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, August 3, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Leo will be laid to rest in Grand View Memorial Park with full military honors.
