Larry D. Dougherty

Larry Don Dougherty, 77, of Pasadena, Texas was born November 9, 1944 (according to him November 8th 1944) in Houston, Texas to his father Carl Miles Dougherty and mother Mary Ceiph (Cheney) Dougherty and passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. He was an avid fisherman and a member of First Baptist Church of Pasadena and of Golden Acres Baptist Church. He enjoyed “tinkering”, gardening, and going to Huntsville whenever he could to go fishing. Larry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his two sons, Jon Dougherty and wife, Jennifer; Jacob Dougherty; grandchildren, Hailey and Hunter Dougherty, Jordan Butler, and Kaylee Barker. He is also survived by his sister Susie McCord and husband, Jerry. Larry is preceded in death by his parents Carl Dougherty and Mary Reeves and husband John Reeves; brothers Jake and Paul Dougherty; Sisters Jane Minskoff and infant Molly Dougherty.

Friends and family are encouraged to join us in celebrating Larry’s life on Wednesday December 29th, 2021 at the Pasadena Funeral Chapel, visitation will be 5-7:00 PM. The memorial service following immediately after at 7:00 PM.
