Julia Ortiz, 66 of Pasadena, Texas passed away on March 4, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 22, 1954 in Laredo, Texas to Juan and Concepcion (Soto) Villarreal. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Pasadena. She was a hardworking and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Julia is survived by her husband, Antonio Ortiz, Jr; sons, Antonio Ortiz, III, Timothy Jay Ortiz and Nicholas Tyson Ortiz; 5 grandchildren along with others she treated as her own; 1 great granddaughter, Sadie; and her brothers and sisters, Lilia V. Carrillo, Victor S. Villarreal, Juanita V. Alaniz, Juan Villarreal III; Diana V. Martinez, Hector Gerardo Villarreal and Irene V. Qarini.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Concepcion Villarreal; brothers, Ricardo Soto Villarreal and Antonio Villarreal.
Visitation will be held Friday evening March 12, 2021 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with Funeral Services being held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel at 10:00am with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nicholas Tyson Ortiz, Timothy Jay Ortiz, Antonio Ortiz III, Hector Gerardo Villarreal, Javier Qarini, Mario DeLeon, Antonio Ortiz IV, and Arturo Ortiz, Jr.
