Our beloved mother, MeMe, sister, aunt and friend, Judy Kay Hance, longtime resident and graduate of Deer Park, Texas passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the age of 72. Judy was born August 15, 1948 in Carthage, Texas to Howard and Cammie (Lawley) Seat. She was a dedicated administrative assistant for
S & B Engineering for 35 years retiring in July 2020.
She was devoted to her family and humbly honored them in unique ways. She instinctively knew when and where she was needed the most. She was the babysitter, personal shopper, chauffeur, and the biggest fan. Somehow MeMe managed to give individual attention to each of her grandchildren. She attended games, tournaments, school performances, concerts, and countless other activities near and far.
Judy was dedicated and an active member at Peace Lutheran Church. She leaned on her faith when facing life challenges, and never hesitated to pray for others and their specific intentions. From vacation bible school to Sunday school teacher, she served many roles for the Church as well as instilling her Faith in her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Tressa Milliorn and husband, Marc; Greg Hance and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Madyson, Brad, Ian, Kiera and Coy; brothers, Gale Seat and wife, Grace; Gary Seat and wife, Phyllis along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Cammie Seat.
The visitation will be held Monday, May 31, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the funeral service being held 10:00am, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Grand View Funeral Home.
