He is preceded in death by his father Crispin Del Castillo, his mother Maria Guadalupe Guzman, son Juan Carlos Del Castillo and granddaughter Elliana Miranda.
He is survived by his wife Maria Lucila Barajas; daughter Monica Miranda, son in law Erick Miranda; brothers Crispin Del Castillo, Wenceslao Del Castillo, Primo Del Castillo; Sisters Griselda Del Castillo, Andrea Del Castillo, Sonia Guadalupe Del Castillo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
