She was born on April 12, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Orville and Rose Ellen Goodrich. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Janice Goodrich and Laura Knoche. She is survived by her loving husband Sylvester Rios, Jr; children Jessica Long and Loretta Fernandez; grandchildren Savannah Long, Nathan Long, Rosa Elena Fernandez, Lucia Fernandez, Sofia Fernandez, and Natalia Fernandez; and brother Bruce Goodrich.
A visitation for Joyce will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A Rosary service will occur Monday, February 5, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St Hyacinth Catholic Church, 2921 Center St, Deer Park, TX 77536. Burial will follow at The Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 12:30 PM.
