Born on September 27, 1954, in Brownsville, Texas, Jose was the beloved son of Antonio and Angelita Villagran. He spent 35 dedicated years of his career as a ramp agent at Southwest Airlines.
Jose was a devoted husband, married to his loving wife, Leticia Villagran, for 47 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
In addition to his career, Jose was a passionate family man who found joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Jose had a zest for life and enjoyed fishing, being near the ocean, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. He rarely missed a football, baseball, or softball game, always cheering on his favorite teams. At family gatherings, Jose could often be found wearing his Dallas Cowboys or Houston Astros cap, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Angelita Villagran, and his sister, Adela Garcia.
He is survived by his devoted wife; Leticia Villagran, children; Angela Crenwelge and her husband Heath Crenwelge, Jose Antonio Villagran Jr. and his wife Michelle Villagran, and Mireya Villagran. His grandchildren; Hazel Villagran, Mason Crenwelge, Laci Crenwelge, Julian Villagran, Arielle Villagran, Jasmine Sandoval and Christian Perez and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jose's legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
