on October 23, 1939, in Houston, Texas. JP was a devoted husband to Judy for 54 years. He
will be deeply missed by his son Michael and daughter-in-law Lori, as well as his 6
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
JP was a man of many interests including fishing, hunting. He enjoyed a nice cold beer or
Bloody Mary while "shooting the breeze" with family, friends and neighbors. JP was also known
for his love of turtles and took great care in ensuring they had a delightful buffet lunch each day.
JP never turned down a good meal. He'd visit his favorite restaurants weekly where he had the
wait staff properly trained to his wants.
JP retired with over 30 years of dedicated service at Occidental Chemical Corporation. He was
a long-time member of the South Houston Lodge 1295 where he rose in rank and became a
Master Mason.
