John was an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God, and in his nearly 40 years of ministry, he served as children’s pastor, youth pastor, associate pastor and senior pastor of churches in Mexia, Bloomington, Pasadena, Baytown, De Soto, and Houston, Texas, as well as in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
John loved riding his Harley and golfing, but most of all, he loved serving the Lord in pastoral ministry and spending time with his family and loved ones. He loved being the life of the party and laughing and joking with friends and family. He is most likely having a reunion party with his loved ones that have gone to heaven before him. Indeed, John’s greatest desire was to see all his friends and family in heaven one day. He will be missed greatly until we all meet together that wonderful day in eternity.
