Joan Jarratt, 82, of South Houston, Texas passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was born in Burke, South Dakota on February 20, 1936 to John and Juanita Baker. She was married to John Jarratt for 24 years. Joan worked as a supervisor for Geo Phone. She had a passion for painting, gardening and puzzles and was a member of the Red Hat Society and Community Club.
Joan was preceded in death by her husbands, Glen Brown and John Jarratt. She is survived by her son, Rickey G. Brown; grandson, Matthew Brown; great granddaughter, Lee Ann Brown; step children, Michael Jarratt and Shari Jarratt; and step granddaughter, Ashley Jarratt.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:30pm in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:30pm. Interment at Grand View Memorial Park.
