Jim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was married to his wife Adell for 57 years, and together they shared a life full of love, laughter, and joy.
Jim was a devoted father to his son Jimi Lee Boren and his wife Laurie, and his daughter Sheri Lynn Escobar and her husband Yuma. He was also a doting grandfather to his seven grandchildren: Kaylee Talley and her husband Tyler, Kassidy Boren, Jacey Boren, Cory Bowers and his wife Haley, Abigail Bowers, Austin Escobar, and Alexis Escobar.
Jim was a hardworking man who spent his career in the chemical industry. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
Jim will be remembered for his kind heart, his infectious smile, and his unwavering love for his family. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents Claude Ander Boren and Bernice Manes Boren. He is survived by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a funeral service held in his honor May 6, 2023, at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. Jim will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park in Pasadena, Texas.
