James Herman Johnson

James H. Johnson was born on December 24, 1941 in Fayette, Alabama to Andy James (Jim) Johnson and Mary Inez Abernathy.

He graduated from Thibodeaux High School in Thibodeaux, Louisiana in 1959. Immediately after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He retired from USAF as Senior Master Sargent. He married Fortunata (Nata) Lopez and they were married for 54 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and reading western books.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nata, and his parents, Andy and Inez Johnson.

He is survived by his daughters, Mary Hamilton and spouse Phillip, Shirley Johnson and spouse Charles Suessmuth, and Judy McMahon and spouse David. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brittany Hamilton and spouse, James Ayzienne, Phillip Dale Hamilton, Jr, Joseph McMahon and spouse Blanca, Joshua McMahon and spouse Rachael, Jacob McMahon, James Gestido, Cristen Gestido and spouse Jeramie Hargrove , Jordan and Dylan Suessmuth and is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
