Hunter Michael Knight

Hunter is survived by: great-grandparent Betty O'Bannon, grandparents Jack and Anita Knight, and Patricia O'Bannon, parents Michael and Kristine Knight, and Kimberly Chapman, siblings Brooke, Tannor, Tarryn, Caroline, and Baylee. As well as niece Emberlyn Peguero and nephew Raiden Peguero, aunts & uncles: Troy and Traci (Knight) Sedtal, Clay and Ronna Knight. First cousins: Josh, Jordan, Jenna, Torri, Tyler, Teague, and Talon. Hunter was lucky because he was able to grow up alongside his cousins and together they spent endless hours at Nanny and Grandpa's home swimming, riding four wheelers and just being together.

Hunter graduated from Deer Park High School in 2014. Hunter pursued a career in Air Balance, Hospital Maintenance, and air conditioning.

Hunter enjoyed his career, but worked to follow his true passion; hunting. Living up to his name's sake, Hunter was an avid outdoorsman. Hunter loved to hunt, fish, and help his Grandpa work the family property in Three Rivers, Texas. Hunter would spend endless days and weekends on the ranch with his Dad, Grandpa, and closest family friend Mike Prevost. Hunter's favorite times were spent chasing racoons and feral hogs with his thermal scope. Fishing in the Frio River and roaming around on his side by side took up the remainder of his time.

Hunter's other true passion was the NFL team, the Indianapolis Colts. Hunter made trips to his favorite team's home stadium, Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis. He would go to the Houston Texans stadium fully decked out in his blue or white Colts jersey to proudly cheer on his team.

Hunter was a master with a Rubik's Cube and could solve the most difficult puzzle in seconds. Seldom would you find Hunter without a Rubik's Cube and he owned many in all shapes and sizes.

A visitation will be held at Grand View Funeral Home, located at 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, 77505, on April 12, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Hunter's life will follow at 2:00 pm. Hunter will be laid to rest at a later date in his beloved spot in Three Rivers.
