Higinio Escamilla Garcia

Higinio Escamilla Garcia passed away on December 20, 2012 in South Houston, TX at the age of 81. He was born in Mexico to Hilario and Benita Escamilla-Garcia. His family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will take place on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, Deacon Dennis Hickey, officiating. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park. The honor to serve as pall bearer has been bestowed upon, Richard Garcia (son), Ramiro Garcia (son), Ramie Allen Garcia (grandson), Austin Landa (grandson), Marlon Torres(son-in-law), Elias Garza (nephew).

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife Emily G. Garcia. He was blessed with a large family, 5 children, Richard Garcia (Danelle), Ramiro Garcia (Eloisa), Liz J. Landa, Cynthia A. Torres (Marlon), Maria Christina Garcia; 6 grandchildren, Kara M. Garcia, Kalyn N. Garcia, Ramie Allen Garcia, Austin Landa, Sophia E. Torres, Mariah V. Torres; 4 stepchildren, Daniel Lee Segura, Doris A. Segura, Johnny Segura, Edith Jean Segura; 6 sisters, Apolonia Trevinio, Antonia Galvan, Guadalupe Elizondo, Alicia Garcia, Amelia Garcia, Juanita Garcia; 7 brothers, Liandro E. Garcia, Abel E. Garcia, Juan E. Garcia, Hilario E. Garcia, Jose E. Garcia, Rogelio E. Garcia, Delfino E. Garcia. He will be greatly missed and his memory will be a cherished one.
