GC Ricky Lee Sims

Ricky as most people called him had a career in remodeling and construction for 40+ years as the owner of Texas Workhorse Remodeling. He had a passion for country music, being a rebel, fast cars and big trucks.

He was preceded in death by his mother Cecilia Gonzales, Brother Terry Sims, and father GC Sims

He is survived by his wife Mary Holloway Sims, Sisters Rebecca Sims, Donna Jackson, Angel Gonzales, and Brother Kenneth Sims and also Step-Sister Kristi Sims. His daughter Nicole Sims, son Michael Sims and many grandchildren and nieces and nephews who were the love of his life.

Our hearts are broken, and the void left by Ricky’s passing is immense. He was not only a beloved husband, father, and friend but also a cherished big brother and a best friend to many. His love and spirit will remain with us always. Though he is no longer with us, he will never be forgotten.

Until we meet again, Ricky, know that you are deeply loved and profoundly missed. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A visitation for GC Ricky will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A committal service will occur Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park, 8516 Spencer Hwy, Deer Park, TX 77536.
