Gary was Born August 25th, 1954, in Palestine, Texas to Lavell and Shirley Moss. He grew up in Pasadena enjoying fast cars and working hard to help support family.
Gary attended Sam Rayburn High School Class of 1972 receiving his GED some years after.
He worked at Parker Brothers, Adler Tank Rentals, Turner Industries and most recently TNT Crane and Rigging.
When at home, Gary enjoyed his yard and puppies, Bella and Chloe. He was a neighbor to all and enjoyed falling asleep each night on the floor with his love, Trina, resting on the couch.
Gary is survived by his wife of 43 years, Trina Cato Moss; son Curt Wayde Calvert and wife Darlene; daughter Laura Jane Calvert; daughter Cassondra Lynn Pfeifer and husband, Justin; daughter Angela Carol Whitfield and husband, Benjamin; grandchildren Brittany, Nicholas, Amanda, Caleb, Macie, Zane, Madilyn, and Maverick; great grandchildren Presley, Heidi and Lincoln; sister Lisa Ann McBride; brother Thomas Scott Moss; sister Debra Jo Dalton and husband Rob; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents Shirley and Lavell Moss.
Gary was a godly man working hard to share God’s love in every church he attended. He and his wife Trina are currently members of Longview Missionary Baptist Church Longview, Texas.
A visitation for Gary Wayne Moss will be held Monday, July 17th, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at First Baptist Pasadena, 7500 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77505, with services beginning at 11:30 AM. Gravesite services will begin at 1:30 at Grandview Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 8501 Spencer Highway, Deer Park, TX 77536.
