Francisco Moreno "Frank" Vasquez passed away on September 8, 2012 at the age of 74. He was born on May 20, 1938. Frank attended Lee College, was employed by the city of Pasadena as a park security guard, and he had also worked as a millwright. Frank was a dedicated worker, always arriving at work an hour early, just to make sure he was there on time. He loved to spend time hunting, fishing, dancing, watching movies, and especially enjoyed spending time playing cards or board games with his grandchildren. Frank was a baseball card collector, and could always be found watching football on Sundays. He loved to eat and appreciated good home cooked meals. Frank was a member of St. Juan Diego Catholic Church in Pasadena. He was a faithful servant of God, serving his church as a Deacon and Eucharist Minister.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, George and Sabina Gutierrez. He is survived by his wife, Marie Vasquez; son, George and his wife Jeanette; daughters, Vicky, Maria, and Sofia; grandchildren, Jade, Jacob, Matthew, Megan, and Madison.
