Feliciano Cornejo Jr.

Feliciano “Red” Cornejo Jr., 81, of La Porte, TX, passed away peacefully at his home on April 18, 2022. He was born in Brownsville, TX on September 19, 1940 to Feliciano Sr. and Catalina Cornejo. Red worked for La Porte ISD and retired after 25 years.

Red was blessed with a close-knit loving family. He was married to Martha Cornejo for 55 years and was blessed with three daughters and five grandchildren. His family brought him so much joy and happiness.

He was an active senior citizen volunteer for the St. Vincent de Paul Store.

Red had a passion for arts & crafts, fishing, watching wrestling, listening to Tejano music and spending time with his grandchildren.

Red is preceded in death by his parents, Feliciano Sr. & Catalina Cornejo, his brothers, Elifonso, Jaime, Mario, and sister Yolanda Ramirez.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Cornejo and his three daughters and sons-in-laws: Bernie & Cindy Perez, Robert & Linda Bell, and Juan & Rosie Yznaga. Also left behind are his beloved grandchildren: Victoria, Brianna, Jonathan, Maksim & Alexandra, his sister Norma and host of nieces and nephews.

Red will be truly missed by his family, friends, and all those that knew him.

The funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 6pm - 8pm at Grandview Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Pasadena, TX 77505.
