My dear grandpa. So many memories that I have with you. How can I even begin?!?! You are the man I looked up to in so many ways. Your dedication to your family means everything to us. I’d like to share a special moment that I witnessed while my stay there with my grandparents that I will cherish forever. 

Back when big screens and surround sound first started coming out.  You and grandma went out to Gallery Furniture and you got her the biggest screen they had. We took it home and all the big boxes it came with. It was a lot. I remember cousins came and helped put it all together. All the speakers around the living room. So many cored lol.  You asked me to come help you use it lol. This was back  when mixed CD where a thing I put on your oldies but goodies mix CD. By this time everyone left and it was just us three in the house. I  put the music on and left the left the living room. After a while I went back to see you and grandma dancing together. Y’all were so much in love. Happiness BEAMED from her. Y’all looked like y’all were in a movie. That’s how beautiful this setting was. I watched y’all in the back ground. Y’all didn’t know I was there, but I was. I thought to myself,  that is love! Unconditional, undying and strong! Generations of love grandpa, you gave us so much! That memory has carried with me over and over and over. I know you wanted to be with grandma again so badly. This is what brings me some peace. 

I'm leaving a picture of all of my little family in your house around Christmas time we were all in one picture. But as I look at pictures and see all the memories I wanted you to know how much I'm going to miss you. I remember when we lived with you and you would say hey mija you want biscuits and gravy from whataburger and I would say sure ok you drive. I remember when you started getting sick and people would of course cater to you but here comes Fabian and you would start to  argue with him because you knew he would tell you back just to get a rise out of him and then you would laugh and say ok mijo.  I love the fact that even though you were his grandpa you were his dad. You would always tell him mijo do right by your family always and just let you know he has.  I remember always talking to you and you would always tell me about how much you miss Candy your wife and how much you loved her and that all you want to do is be reunited with her.  So even though I'm very saddened to see you go I am so happy to know that you have finally reunited with the love of your life. Thank you for everything ❤ 

This is a memory  I will never forget.  This is a picture  of my sister and I when we went to Tia's house to visit our Tio Tolo.  Letty my Prima and her husband brought Tio here to S.A. for a visit.  I will always cherish  this memory, he was so happy to see his sister. Thank you Letty for bringing Tio to all of us in San Antonio.   We will miss you dearly. 😔

 Big Mike and I will miss you Tio.  We both remember  the time you gave us a ride to work when we were living in H town.  We love the way you invited us to stay at your loving home while we were there with my Son.  May you Rest in Peace 🙏.   Please give my Tia Candy a big hug and tell her we too miss her loving smile.

Almost 14 yrs ago you accepted me into your family and allowed me to be a part of it and I can remember it like yesterday, I was super nervous yet scared and excited. Honestly I had a range of different emotions running thru me all at once and it was all my babes JENNIFER fault she got me all scared to me you. Once introduced I reached out shook your hand and you said to me sit down, I was like yes sir. After that we talked for hours I mean literally hours about your days in the service party’s in the back yard, stories about all the grand kids and your kids and I enjoyed every minute of our conversations from that day forward… Everytime I would visit we would sit and talk and every conversation was a new one. after the third or maybe forth visit Jen said “my grandfather likes you he asked for you today” and it melted my heart to the core, being that you reminded  me of my own grandfather and I missed him so much I just felt that connection with you. And now I only wish I could have another conversation with you another handshake another hi Mijo or I love you son, just another five more minutes with you Mr Medrano “grandpa”!! I know your in a better place at peace and reunited with everyone we have lost along the way.. Im honored to have met you and got to share so many conversations with. You will forever be in my heart I love you grandpa Eddie I’ll see you later sir!!

Daddy I love you....I know your dancing in heaven with mommy that's where you belong daddy .,this is only a farewell....you will always and forever be in my heart .....until we meet again .....I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Oh Lord, where to start with my Grandpa Eddie. First off, Thank You Grandpa for your Service and for being there for us all. You always said (with your dementia) I have to goto work. Well, now your officially clocked out and may rest. Rest In Peace my angel, I love you bunches and will see you again someday. “ Good Lord Willing” as you always said! 

May you RIP grandpa Eddie Thank you for all the good memories my sons Isaiah&Isaac Ayala have. We all love you grandpa you will me missed.

I will always cherish our visit before I moved to Germany in 2017. It was the first time in my life that I had the opportunity to talk to you as an adult. Of course I had to sit through 45 minutes of your shows in silence before we could talk. A small fee for a priceless moment. I sat there and watched you enjoying your shows wondering. I wondered what it would take to be just a fraction of a man that you were, a father and husband that you were. I wondered what it would take to be the pioneer like you were, so that I can explore, find my place, and build a beautiful family the way that you did. I will never forget the man to man conversation I shared with you that day. I love you Grandpa and I know you are at peace with grandma smiling down on us. 

My world, my grandpa! You will be missed tremendously grandpa. Fly high & dance away with grandma Candé🕊🕊 I love you!💔💋
