Eugenio "Genio" V. Salazar Jr.

Eugenio Salazar, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend passed into eternal life and glory on February 6, 2015. Eugenio was born in 1942 in Bishop, Texas. He was preceded in death by Eugenio Salazar (Father), Fransica V.Salazar (Mother), Santigo Salazar,Johnny Salazar,Juanito Salazar (Brothers), Celia Salazar (Sister). He is survived by siblings Pablo Salazar, Cornelia S Jaramilla, Jose Luis Salazar and Gracelia Salazar. He was married 52 years to the love of his life Juanita Salazar and raised their family in Pasadena, Texas. He is survived by 5 children David Salazar, Daniel Salazar and wife Sandra, Eugene Salazar III, Elias Salazar and wife Beth, and daughter Nina Blevins and husband Art. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren Bianca Salazar, David Salazar, Daniel Inez Salazar, Christopher Salazar, Aaron Salazar, Jimmy Ray Salazar, Elias Salazar, Jr., Nicholas Salazar, Blas Alexander Torres and Eric Lee Torres and wife Claudia, and 7 Great-Grandchildren, Cameron Salazar, Damien Erebus Salazar, Timothy Ynocensio Salazar, Jonathan Daniel Salazar, Isabell Evan Salazar, Leanne Marie Torres, and Kyle Rodriguez. Eugenio will always be remembered for his love of music. He wrote songs from the heart for the people in his life and enjoyed the fruit of his family and the song of joy. Eugenio was a brave and strong man who was always surrounded by his family Eugenio is also survived in love and spirit by his 3 faithful companions Chucho, Goliath and Max.
