Eugene Jacob Stahl, 85, of Pasadena, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2019. He was born in Houston, Texas on February 15, 1933 to Elmo and Buelah Stahl. Eugene was married to Charlyn Beth Goehring for 36 amazing years.
There was never a dull moment in the Stahl household. Eugene always kept active in the community. He loved to talk yet was an exceptional listener. He had a passion for hunting and fishing and he even treasured the moments spent coaching his grandson’s baseball teams. Eugene had a ranch where he raised Beefmaster Cattle. But his knowledge in history was Eugene’s delight. An immense history enthusiast, there was nothing in history that Eugene wouldn’t talk about. Just to watch his excitement when he talked about history, you couldn’t help but get elated right along with him.
Eugene had a career in Electrical contracting. He was also a member of the I.B.E.W. 716 Electrical Union. He worked for Meldrum Electric Company in his early years as an electrician. While working there, he befriended Milan Westergaard. Working well together as colleagues, they decided to open their own business. So they developed a partnership and launched S & W Electric Company. Both Eugene and Milan retired together, closing their doors to S & W Electric after years of success.
Eugene is preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Buelah Stahl; son, Billy Allen Stahl; and sister, Virginia Thomas.
He is survived by his loving wife Charlyn Beth Stahl; son, Bobby Stahl; grandson, Steven Stahl; and granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Stahl.
Eugene will always be missed but never forgotten.
