My mother went home to be with my grandparents and our heavenly father on Oct. 19, 2010. She was the most wonderful nurse that graced this world. She was admired and respected by all. Each time I went to visit her at her job her co-workers would always let me know how dedicated and organized she was. One of a kind. Just as she took care of those she was entrusted to at the hospital she also took care of us a home. My mother blessed me many times over and I never lacked anything. She is the reason I am the person I am today. She showed me courage, compassion, and most of all that love that only your momma can give. She was my defender, my coach, my teacher but most of all my mommy that was always there for me. Just like all of us her life was not always easy and she passed through some difficult times but she did her best and always showed courage and kept her head high.
She leaves behind her husband and a daughter and son. She also leaves 4 granddaughter's and 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents and numerous brothers and sisters.
My family and I thank you for the prayers and hugs and know that my mother is no longer suffering but is rejoicing and dancing with the stars in heaven. She had a love for dancing which she passed down to myself and my daughter and I know that always brought her great joy to see us carry on the family tradition.
Sincerely,
Sonia Ramirez-her eternally grateful and loving daughter
