Emra Preston Durrett

He is preceded in death by his two sons Jack and Mike Durrett.

He is survived by his wife: Frankie and children: Elizabeth and Chris. Preston has 4 Grandchildren, Jaclyn, Christopher, Ashley and Rylee. 5 Great Grandchildren, Nathan, Beau, Romeo, Savannah and William. Daughter in law, Rachelle and Granddaughter in law, Cynthia, He has 3 Brothers, 1 Brother in law and 4 Sisters in law, Nieces and Nephews.

Preston volunteered for the Army after graduating from Pasadena High School. He served in Korea and was called back in for the beginning of Vietnam War. He was very proud of his service.

Preston worked at Bayer Corporation in Baytown. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and never passed up a chance to travel. He worked hard to provide for his family, and deeply loved them all.

A visitation for Emra will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A committal service will occur Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Grand View Memorial Park/Bethany Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
