Emilio E. Araujo, 88, Passed away on August 2, 2017 at his home in Pasadena, Texas. Born on May 28, 1929 in Harlingen, to parents Refugio and Agustina Araujo. He was a member of St. Juan Diego Catholic Church in Pasadena. Worked for Safe Mart as a Produce Manager until his retirement. Emilio’s passion was singing Mariachi songs at Weddings and Quinceañeras. An avid Astros fan, and enjoyed working in his yard. He was preceded in death by his wife Ceverina G. Araujo, his son Emilio P. Araujo. He is survived by two sisters Justina Araujo, Ernestina A. Garcia (Juan), five brothers Marcelino Araujo (Elena), Pedro Araujo (Tonia), Jose Araujo (Elida), Guadalupe Araujo(Julie) Longino Araujo (Maria). From first marriage two daughters Sarita A. Araujo, Esmeralda A. Martinez, Two sons Jesus R. Araujo (Maria), Fernando F. Araujo (Gloria). 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren 1 great-great grandson. Numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his good neighbors and friends for their deepest concern for Mr. Araujo.
