Edna Johnson Wilson

Devoted wife and loving mother touched the hand of God, October 10, 2010, while traveling through Colorado. Edna traveled many places as a military wife including France and Germany. She was a gifted seamstress, avid gardener, read more books than one can imagine, having her own personal library. Her family was the center of her life. She is preceded in death by husband, David Marshall Wilson; parents, Arnold and Dora Johnson and brothers, Nealus and Freddy Johnson. She is survived by sisters, Lessie Gorsha and Alta Marie “Tut” Fuselier and husband Hubert; sister-in-law, Betty Johnson; daughters, Barbara Ames and husband Gary, Lynn Clark and husband John, Cindy Rion and husband Jim, Deedee Aguillard and husband Tony, Yvette O’Toole, Mitzi Duncan and husband Joseph; Grandchildren, Spencer Kirkland Ames, Tammy Elizabeth Wallace and husband John Michael, Jeffrey Lee Barnett, Ian Wilson Dostal, Craig Clark, Brandy Y. Harris and husband John, Beth Jensen and husband Justin, Heath Marshal Davis and wife Belinda, Derrek A. Rion and wife Krystle, Nicholas W. Davis and wife Crystal, C. Mike Aguillard and fiancé Liz, David A. Aguillard and wife Cheyenne, Ashley T. Warren and fiancé Cristen, Katie B. Barnett, Zachary Cummings, Jacob Wallace, Spenser, Garret and Savanah Smith, Cameron Jensen, Chyler and Mason Harris, Keaton, Payton, Lynley and Ethan Davis, Dylan Ottosen, Cody and Clint Rion, Madison Davis, Damien and Addison Aguillard, Brandon and Natalie Jerkins and numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers: Derrek Rion, Craig Clark, James Soland, Jonathan O’Toole and Kegan O’Toole. Family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 5-8 PM in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Chapel Services will be held Friday October 15, 2010 at 10 AM at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will be held Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1 PM at Houston National Cemetery.
