Earl loved slot cars and his slot car track business, Coolmans’ Slot Car Track. He also enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and friends. There was nothing Earl could not do with his crippled arm. He spent most of his childhood in the Shriner’s Hospital. Earl was a reliable and dependable friend. There were no obstacles that Earl couldn’t overcome, he didn’t let anything hold him down. He had a heart of gold and will never be forgotten.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents Frankie Earl and Maurine Delores Quillen and sister Linda Smith.
Earl is survived by his wife Connie Quillen and son Scott Quillen, brother Larry Dean and wife Betty Quillen, sister Ann Delores and husband Bill Garrett, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Celebration of Earl's Life will be held Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Pasadena Funeral Chapel, 2203 Pasadena Boulevard, Pasadena, Texas 77502.
