Dorothy Lee Tolbert

Dorothy Lee Cannon Tolbert, 86, of Pasadena, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Dorothy was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on July 20, 1929 to the late Ernest Martin Cannon and Rilla Breashear Cannon. She also is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Tommy Lee Tolbert Sr., son Tommy Lee Tolbert Jr., grandson Yancie Tolbert, great grand daughter Jennifer Berel McPartland, brothers Howard and Martin Cannon, two sister’s Stella Hoppens and Rachel Whitworth. She is survived by daughter Brenda Tolbert Greer and husband Larry; and son Clay Tolbert; sister Erna Streetman; 7 grandchildren Marcia Webster, Angie McDonald, Shannon Bleike, Sherry Tolbert Berel, Jason Tolbert, Amanda Tolbert, Ashton Tolbert; great grandchildren Jake, Ben, Sam, Ryan, Chase, Shannon Jr., Hannah, Ashlee, Tommy III, Cameron, Camden and 2 great great grandchildren Jace and Auvri, along with many other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday April 19, 2016 at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Services celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday April 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
