Dorothy Kathleen Patton-Reid passed away on May 19, 2010 in Houston, Texas. She was born on September 27, 1944 in Ellwood, Pennsylvania to the union of Frederick and Dorothy Patton. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 33 years, David Reid. She is survived by 4 children; Colleen Crews, Chris Crews and wife Tori, Letitia Reid, Daniel Reid and wife Vickie; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; twin brother, Bill Patton and wife Gloria, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Dorothy was a beautiful person who loved the Lord. She was an active church member, teaching Sunday school and playing piano. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends for visitation between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Grand View Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy. Pasadena, Texas 77501. Funeral services will be held in The Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM.
