Dorothy Gay Connors

Dorothy was active in the Pasadena PTA at both Golden Acres Elementary and Jensen Elementary. She and her husband of 55 years, Chuck Connors, were very active in the Pasadena Music Community for many years. She was a long time member of the church her father help build, Golden Acres Assembly of God. Dorothy will be sorely missed by her Sunday school class at Golden Acres Baptist Church where she attended faithfully before her illness.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles (Chuck) Milton Connors; son, Jason Connors; parents, Hester and Thelma Suggs; sister, Ruby Doris Overstreet; brother, Billy Joe Suggs.

She is survived by her daughter Sharry Connors of Pasadena, Texas; grandsons, Tytus Strube of South Dakota and Jake Connors of Pasadena, Texas; great-granddaughter, Andrea Hamm of South Dakota; brother, James Suggs and wife Rose f Kingwood, Texas; nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Grand View Memorial Park.
