Donnie L. Ray, 75, of Pasadena passed away on June 29, 2017. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 28, 1941 and was a graduate of Central High School.
Donnie was married to Marge Ray for 40 years and loved being a family man. He was passionate about Houston sports and loved being outdoors. He had a career in grocery store management and also worked as a route salesman, taxi driver, and dispatcher.
Left to cherish Donnie’s memory include his wife Marge, son Gary and wife Elaine Ray, and daughters and son-in-laws: Sari and Charles Davis, Judy and Mike Gallagher, Denise and Brandt Smith, and Margaret and Chris Carrazales. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, as well as sisters Jean Ray and Theresa Maynor.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 4 from 2-5pm at Pasadena Funeral Home. A Celebration of Donnie’s life will be held Wednesday July 5 at 10am at Parkgate Community Church. He will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
