Donna Mae Thompson

She graduated from Ashtabula Harbor High School in 1946. Donna worked at USI/Quantum for 26 years in the accounts payable department. She was an avid sports fan. Some of her favorites to watch were tennis, golf, football, basketball, but her all-time favorite was baseball. Donna was a huge fan of the Astros, and she enjoyed going to the games and rooting them on as well as watching them on TV. She was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary. Donna loved to play cards with her two best friends Dale and Ellawyn. Another fun hobby, Donna enjoyed was gambling from Louisiana to Las Vegas.

Her family would like to thank her caregivers Cathy, Sonja, Caitlyn, Silvia, Ashley, and special thanks to Kita, Susan, and the staff and friends at The Waterford.

She is survived by her daughter Tami Thompson, and a close friend, Tony Dial. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Betty Jane Glaus and Norma Jean Thomas.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Final services after Wednesday will be private.
