Donna Stovall and Helen Millican

Helen Millican, age 81 passed away on July 10, 2020. She was born on March 18, 1939 in McAllan, Texas to Henry Garza Sr. and Josefa (Balderena) Garza. She graduated from McAllen High School. She was married to the love of her life, Donald Millican for 13 years before he passed. She retired in retail after working 34 years. Helen Millican was a member of St. Hyacinth Catholic church. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her siblings, grandchildren and great grandchildren any chance she could get. Helen Millican would help anyone in need. She had the biggest heart. One of her favorite events of the year was the Garza family reunion. She loved seeing her entire extended family get together and have a good time.

She is survived by her Grandson Jonathon Millican, wife Cassie Millican, great grandchildren Jonah, Emma and Mila Millican. Granddaughter Hayley Tartaglia, husband Justin Tartaglia, great grandchildren Aubrey and Brantley Gibson. Grandson Bryant Stovall, wife Donna (Dolly) Stovall, great grandchild Billie Upchurch. As well as her sister Mary Lou Rikeman, and brother Ray Garza of Deer Park, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Millican and daughter Donna Stovall. Her parents Henry G. Garza and Josefa Baldearena Garza and siblings Henrietta Arroyo, Irene Gongora, Olga Garza, Henry Garza Jr., Beatrice Arthur, Viola Garza, Ruben Garza, Maggie Kitch and Grace Gonzalez. Helen Millican was one of 12 children.

Donna Stovall, age 52 passed away on July 5, 2020. She was born on September 20, 1967 in Pasadena, TX to Donald Millican and Helen Millican. She received her High school equivalency from Deer Park High school. She worked for the city of Harris county for 10 years. Donna had a loving and grateful heart. She loved spending time with her family and friends and cherished the time she had to spend with her grandchildren. She was kind and welcoming to every person she encountered. She loved spending time joking and laughing with her mother. She was always willing and ready to lend out a helping hand when she could. Like her mother, Donna looked forward to their Garza family reunion every year. She enjoyed seeing her aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

She is survived by her Son Jonathon Millican, wife Cassie Millican, grandchildren Jonah, Emma and Mila Millican. Daughter Hayley Tartaglia, husband Justin Tartaglia, grandchildren Aubrey and Brantley Gibson. Son Bryant Stovall, wife Donna (Dolly) Stovall, grandchild Billie Upchurch.

She is preceded in death by her parents Donald Millican and Helen Millican. Donna Stovall was an only child.

Helen Millican and Donna Stovall will be deeply missed by their family and friends.
