Donald Gene Old

Donald Gene Old peacefully went home to be with the lord on May 29, 2023 in LaPorte, Texas at the age of 67 after a battle with Alzheimer's, he was born to John and Shirley Old on May 27, 1956 in Baytown, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Donnie is survived by his children Stephanie Old, Jared Old, Austin Howard and Justin Howard as well as his grandchildren Kaitlynn Old and Ryan Silva. He is also survived by his siblings Terry Old and wife Peggy, Andy Old, Tami Jackson nd husband Robert and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donnie graduated from Deer Park High School in 1974 and went on to work in the petrochemical industry. Later he was the owner of Sundown Party Rental and Supplies.

Donnie enjoyed playing golf. He also enjoyed being a part of the Magnificent Party Time 7 cook team. He was a past director of the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo and part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Donnie's family and friends will always remember his contagious smile. We are all better for being blessed to have him in our lives.

A memorial service for Donald will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505, followed by a visitation from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
