David Alan Grundman

Alan Grundman, age 58, passed away Thursday October 20, 2016, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma, and was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Alan graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1976. In 1977, he moved to Pasadena, Texas and started a 38 year career with Dixie Chemical Company.

Alan met the love of his life, Denise, in 1986 and they were happily married for 29 years.

Alan and Denise raised seven children, four boys and three girls.

Alan is survived by his father Jay, mother Barbara, wife Denise, children Anthony and Megan Ratliff, Jennifer Grundman, Andrew and Megan Ratliff, Jarrett and Lyndsey Grundman, Ashby and Emma Grundman, Jordan and Jake Wade, Jillian and Marco Mejia, grandchildren, Avri, Max, Joy, Preslee, Mercer, Axel, Chandler, and Boden, siblings Michael, Susan and Jimmy and many loving relatives.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas, 77505. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Parks and Wildlife - Native Wildlife and Endangered Species, or United Way.
