David Earl Dickey

David was born on Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida on June 20th, 1957 to Harold Lee Dickey and Mary Katherine Dickey. He was a loving son, father, brother and uncle.

David left Panama City after graduating High School to serve in the Coast Guard stationed in Houston, Texas. He served for 4 years as a Helicopter Mechanic. He started his career at Phillips 66 in Pasadena, Texas in 1980, and finished his career in 2019.

David was married for 11 years to Carolyn May Dickey. They had their son, Brandon Lee Dickey on March 17th, 1991.

David loved getting together with family and traveling to the mountains. He enjoyed snowmobiling and just spending time in the outdoors. Fishing was a big part of his life for a lot of years. He fished with family and friends anywhere from the Gulf of Mexico to Alaska.

David is survived by his mother, Mary K. Dickey; his son, Brandon Dickey; his brother, Ronald Dickey; his sister, Brenda Smith and her children Melissa, Marlayna, Ryan and their families; along with several close friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Dickey.

A visitation for David will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Pasadena Funeral Home, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 9676 - Pasadena Funeral Home, 2203 PASADENA BLVD, PASADENA, TX 77502. A committal service will occur Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
