Dalton John Abshire, 85, of La Porte, Texas passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 in Pasadena, Texas. Mr. Abshire was born on June 14, 1934 in Crowley, Louisiana to Pierre Leyson Abshire and Edna Broussard Abshire. He worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in the medical center earlier in life; He was retired from the Pasadena Independent School District where he had worked for over 25 years. He was a member of the LifeBridge Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Abshire. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Abshire; son, Cecil Abshire and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Arden, Colton and Jason.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at LifeBridge Baptist Church, 2709 Kingsdale Dr. Deer Park, Texas 77536.
