He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Young and four children; Cailyn Benavides, Lincoln Gale, Avery Gale, and Colin Gale as well as his parents Bruce Gale, Brenda Gale, Keith Calhoun and “bonus mom,” Louellen Hart and three sisters; Dedra Gale Hafer and husband Clint Hafer, Laci Bishop and husband Zach Bishop, and Kelly Williams and husband Nick Williams. Chris was the beloved uncle to many nephews and nieces: Skylar Bishop, Abigail Williams, Aubrey Hafer, Ronnie Lyons, Dominic Cruz, and Natalie Cruz.
Chris is preceded in death by grandparents William and Joan Gale and Toby and Myrtle Oser and his nephew Nathaniel Gale. Chris had a very special relationship with Nathaniel. The family has found peace in knowing that Chris is reunited with his nephew.
A dedicated professional, Christopher had a successful career in the refinery industry, most recently employed at Novvi.
Christopher was a passionate fan of the Astros and Texans and enjoyed spending his time on the porch, surrounded by family and friends, and sharing his love for cars, particularly his cherished Dodge Charger Scat Pack. Chris was always the class clown as a child. He loved to make others laugh, and did so up until the day of his passing. His sisters and wife will sorely miss the “dad jokes” and funny reels he sent daily.
Christopher will be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 15 from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at The Church Triumphant, 1030 Strawberry Road, Pasadena, Texas 77506, followed by a Celebration of Christopher's Life beginning at 6:00 PM.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Clint Hafer, Zachary Bishop, Nick Williams, Pat Campos, Joshua Gale, and Trinity Richardson. Honorary pallbearers Cliff Jordan and Richard Hernandez.
