Christina Hernandez, 81, passed away on March 29, 2012 in Pasadena, TX. She was born on July 24, 1930 in San Antonio, TX to Refugio and Enemencia Lopez. Christina is preceded in death by her parents; and husband of 28 years, Amador Hernandez. She is survived by 2 sons, Michael Jauregui and his wife Cindy, and Joel Jauregui; 7 daughters, Theresa Heacock and her husband Robert; Dian Cramer; Martha Rocha and her husband Gilbert; Cynthia Ann Maldonado and her husband Ricardo; Leticia "Tish" Gorham; Anna Maria Jauregui; and Aurora Hernandez; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday April 3, 2012 in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park. For those desiring to do so, memorial contributions in honor of Christina may be made to the American Cancer Society.
