Cheryl J. Smith, 75, passed away on Sunday morning, June 5, 2022. She was born September 22, 1946 in Bexar County, Texas, the daughter of Alfred Burks Smith and Emma Conception Munoz Hummel and step-father Herbert Gene Hummel.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carol Crosby.
She is survived by daughter Sheila and Michele Gonzales of Pasadena, Texas, sisters Judy Adkins of Pensacola, Florida, and Donna Hummel Sanders of Heavener, Oklahoma, brother Alfred B. Smith II and wife Nina of Pasadena, Texas. She also leaves behind 11 nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Dar, Dr. Metz, and Dr. Harkins and all the doctors in the Ladason office that gave their kindness, care, and respect to our mother.
