Charlotte was born and raised in Pasadena, TX. After graduating from Sam Rayburn High School, she began her career with an Industrial Supply Company. During the years she moved from selling tools and supplies to software design and development. Her love of people, her wit, and sense of humor was evident to all who knew her. She was respected and appreciated by all she touched, from those that worked with their hands to executive management. Her work knowledge took her from the edges of the Arctic Circle to the tip of the Equator.
She always stayed grounded to her roots and kept her family close. She made sure her family experiences were memorable. One of her favorite vacation spots was Orlando, Florida. She always wanted to keep her family’s imaginations alive with her passion for fun.
When she wasn’t spoiling her children and grandson, she was busy sewing baby blankets for her extended family and friends. She was an avid landscaper, a loving mother, dedicated grandmother, and a friend to all.
She is survived by her daughter Kassie DeHart, son Travis Stovall, grandson Parker DeHart, mother Annie Cooper, brother John Smith, and sister Sherry Lok. She is preceded in death by her father Roy Smith.
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 5pm to 8pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 10 am in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
