Charles Maples, age 77, of Pasadena, Texas entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2019. He was born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on March 2, 1942 to father Leonard Phillip Maples and mother Florence Opal Maples. He was married to the love of his life, Carole Reeves Maples, for 57 wonderful years. Charles was a faithful and diligent worker in the sales department of Frito Lay for 39 years. Charles had many passions, some of which included woodworking, camping, model car collecting, fishing, and coaching.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Leonard Maples, and mother Florence Maples.
Charles is survived by his wife, Carole; sister Linda Loveless & husband Jim Loveless; daughters Dena Robb & husband Brian Robb, and Dee Dee Collins & husband Joe Collins; son Steven Maples; 5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 27 from 1:00-2:00PM at Hope Community United Methodist Church located at 2838 Lily Street Pasadena, Texas. A Celebration of Charles' life will begin at 2:00PM. Immediately following he will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.
