Carol Ann Perry

Carol was born in Galena Park, TX, and was one of five children. She graduated from Galena Park High school in 1968. Carol was married to the love of her life Rollie Perry on August 21, 1971, beginning a family. She completed her Bachelor’s in Education from U of H in 1986, finishing a masters degree from Stephen F Austin in ’91. For 26 years Carol taught elementary school specializing in helping children become better readers.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Milbert Carl & Juanell (Dickey) Spretz, husband Rollie Perry, brother Steve Spretz, and nephew John Spretz.

Carol is leaving behind her daughter Brenda Wootan, son in law Craig Wootan of Baytown. Son Brian Perry of Houston. Her precious grandchildren Brandon and Paige Wootan, siblings David Spretz and wife Sharon, Donald Spretz and wife Paula, Linda Liescheski and husband Danny, and sister-in-law Carol Spretz. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, and loving friends whom she cherished.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday August 25, 2021, and a celebration of her life will be at 1:00 PM Thursday August 26, 2021 both at Grandview Funeral Home in Pasadena.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to made to the Alzheimer’s Association Of Houston and Southeast Texas.
