Bobby Ray was well respected and loved by everyone. He never met a stranger, whether it be mankind or animals of all types. He loved fishing and racing. He was well known in the drag racing circuit because of his car, a Lincoln he called “Black Mamba”. He has stories written and published because of it. He helped some close friends about cars.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father Erman L. Underwood, maternal grandparents Joseph C. Smith Jr. and Evelyn A. Tolsby Smith, and paternal grandparents Monroe and Genevieve Underwood.
He is survived by his daughter Sage Victoria Underwood, mother Barbara Sue Smith, sister Jenny Renee Underwood, niece Tiffany A. Kruse, and nephew Glenn H.L. Dudley III as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Bobby's life will be held Friday, June 30 at 10:00AM at Grand View Funeral Home. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest at Grand View Memorial Park.
