Robert E. “Bob” Lukenbaugh, 92, of Deer Park, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was born in Waukomis, Oklahoma on November 5, 1924 to Lloyd and Aletha Lukenbaugh.
He was married to Mary Eta Thorlton for 71 years. Bob had a career in the grain industry working for Union Equity and retired after 50 years. He was a member of GEAPS, Veterans of WWII and fought on Midway Island and had a passion for woodworking and crafts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Aletha Lukenbaugh; brothers, Glen Lukenbaugh and Jack Lukenbaugh; and sister, Doris Klemme.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Etta Lukenbaugh; daughter, Robin Lukenbaugh; and son, Chris Lukenbaugh; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Colten Lukenbaugh; brothers, Rex Lukenbaugh and Dean Lukenbaugh; and Sue Arnold.
