Billy Robert Rawson

Bill began his career as a Union Ironworker in Houston in 1969 and helped construct many of the tallest buildings in Houston. He later became a Rig Welder. He enjoyed the independence and travel of being a Rig Welder and made lasting friends everywhere he worked.

Bill lived in Brownsboro Texas for many years and was a past Master of the Brownsboro Masonic Lodge #1051, AF&AM. Bill had a passion for the outdoors and especially enjoyed deer hunting with his friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Tommy Lee Rawson and Dorothy Gilchrist Rawson.

He is survived by his son and his family Billy Robert Rawson Jr., Karen Rawson, DeLon Richard Rawson and Stoy Lynn Rawson, sister Geri Sue Rawson and brother Stephen Lee Rawson. Bill leaves behind a large number of family and friends. He loved them all.

A visitation for Billy will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home.
