Billie Jo Jeffcoat, 83, of Pasadena, Texas passed away on October 14, 2018 at 5:45 pm from complications of heart disease and kidney failure. Jo was devoted to her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from her nursing career to babysit children of friends and co-workers until 2007. She loved to play “the game” Aggravation with James and Marilyn Yancey, and travel with Henry and Barbara Powell, both couples being lifetime friends and preceded her in death. After the passing of her husband she resided with her son in Deer Park until she required continuous care and was moved into Paramount nursing home.
She is preceded in death by her parents W.C. and Ruth (Reed) Brannon, brothers R.J. Brannon and Thomas (Tom) Brannon as well as her husband Edward Lewis Jeffcoat. She is survived by her sons Charles (Chuck) Jeffcoat (Pasadena), Bobby Jeffcoat (Pasadena), and Jerry and wife Devon Jeffcoat (Deer Park). Her life’s loves here on earth are grandson, Mitchell (Lauren) Jeffcoat of League City with great-grandchildren Mallory and Miles and granddaughter Megan (Mike) Jeffcoat with great-granddaughters McKenna and Jayleigh.
We would like to thank the staff of Fresenius (Deer Park) and Paramount Nursing home (Pasadena) for the wonderful care they provided to her as well as the numerous physicians who managed her health.
The family would like to invite those who wish to visit our mom at Grandview Funeral Home (East Pavilion) with an open viewing on October 18, 2018 at 1:30 - 2:00 p.m. with visitation proceeding from 2-3:00 p.m. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. followed by a graveside prayer.
