Bertha Garza, 85 of Pasadena, Texas passed away at her home on Monday, February 8, 2021. She was born September 26, 1935 in Mexico to Aniceto and Manuela (Canales) Flores. Bertha loved word searches and to embroidery, spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking meals for the family.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Antonio Garza; 5 children, Manuela Gerardo; Arnold Garza and wife, Gracie; Juan Garza and wife, Jo; Ana Diaz and husband, Bobby and Maria Garcia and husband, Rene; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brothers, Heron Flores and wife, Eva; Raul Flores and wife, along with her 2 sisters, Albeza Flores and Rosa Flores.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her 2 sisters and 1 brother along with her step-mother, Perta Hinojosa.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 at Grand View Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 8:0pm with a rosary being recited at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Blessed Juan Diego Catholic Church with burial following at Grand View Memorial Park.
